  • freaked out on my team
  • neglected to do some pretty important things
  • found my body so wound up that I struggled with neck, shoulder and back issues, had digestive trouble and found myself once again teetering on the edge of depression.

🆘 The magnitude of stress in my life impacted my body physically, emotionally and mentally, and my performance showed it.


I was walking the thin line of burnout and losing credibility as the leader fast!


I knew I had to learn how to deal with the stress of my workload and level of responsibility if I wanted to lead well.

Things began to turn around for me!

With the help of a coach, I took hold of how I was leading and how I was living!


I began to do little things at work to take care of myself, and they added up.

✅ I took time to stretch
✅ I took a few deep breaths
✅ I made sure I had snacks and water with me to stay refuelled
✅ I put on calming music in the background when I was working on projects.
✅ I took quick walks around the block when I couldn't focus and longer ones at lunch when I had the chance.

I learned how to add wellness moments throughout my workday to help me stay on top of my stress levels. These micro-moments gave me back my composure, focus, energy and health.🤗
